Metronome And Tuner for ipad and iphone

Articles, free lessons, Others

A metronome and a tuner are (must be) your two best friends and you can use them without moderation. I ALWAYS practice with a metronome and a tuner and I found 2 apps that I can recommend.

006-Red-24I consider there are two top priorities to develop as a musician:

Priority number 1: your sound

Priority number 2: your time

Any of the musicians you admire will have two things in common: they have an original and recognizable sound and a great time feel.

Are you getting lost in the form?

Are you switching 2 and 4 with 1 and 3?

Are your eighths or sixteenths irregular and not swinging?

Are you having troubles playing at fast tempo?

064-Color-24 If any of these problems apply to you, the answer is: M.E.T.R.O.N.O.M.E.

Check out the Rhythm Mastery Series, 7 videos packed with exercises to improve your time feel (first lesson is available for free after registration).

I use this app Pro Metronome and I can recommend it. There are many features to customize the metronome design exercises.

Can’t figure out if your sharp or flat?

Certain notes are in tune, others are not?

You can’t sing in tune to save your life?

064-Color-24 The answer is: T.U.N.E.R.

Check out the Intonation Exercises Series, 7 lessons to improve and control your intonation.

insTuner is a chromatic tuner that helps you tune instruments quickly and accurately. In the intonation lessons I use this app and you can click on the image below to find out more about it:

There are multiple metronome and tuner apps you can find, and although it is not required to download the apps I’m sharing with you today to follow the lessons about rhythm and intonation, it’s better that we share the same gear. And I am really impressed by the power of these apps so I can only strongly suggest you to get them.
