I played a gig 2 weeks ago and the bass player called this tune in B-flat.
Then last week I played a session at my house and we played this tune in E-flat but the bass player played a I VI II V progression over the first two bars. You never know how the other cats learned the song, so you HAVE TO LISTEN and be able to recognize what the bass player or the pianist is playing!
