Lyrics:
You came to me from out of nowhere
You took my heart and found it free
Wonderful dreams, wonderful schemes from nowhere
Made every hour sweet as a flower for me
You took my heart and found it free
Wonderful dreams, wonderful schemes from nowhere
Made every hour sweet as a flower for me
If you should go back to your nowhere
Leaving me with the memory
I’ll always wait for your return out of nowhere
Hoping you’ll bring your love to me
Leaving me with the memory
I’ll always wait for your return out of nowhere
Hoping you’ll bring your love to me
If you should go back to your nowhere
Leaving me with a memory
I’ll always wait for your return out of nowhere
Hoping you’ll bring your love to me
Leaving me with a memory
I’ll always wait for your return out of nowhere
Hoping you’ll bring your love to me
Oh, please, don’t never leave me
I never want to be free
It wouldn’t be fair for you to go back to nowhere
I never want to be free
It wouldn’t be fair for you to go back to nowhere

I’m still practicing the 1235 shape https://youtu.be/cFB-V7JXk3w
Dulce Yeah! sounds great, nice job on the walking bass!
Hi Alex and all members, i have a suggestion and a question about the motivic development, i tried on the GM7 this pattern A B C# E and it sounds good to me, am I wrong? And on Eb7 (bar 4) the A,B,C# E its difficult to me because i hear a major 9 (F) otherwise I have to resolve the E immediatly on the D of the next chord (GM7)…
Looking for ideas with the motif 🙂
Hello Alex, hello the tribe,
I’ve published my “student version” of Out Of Nowhere, trying to use mainly the triads on JVL facebook private group.
Actually I don’t know how to publish the video on this page …
See you,
Julien
Julien the best is to upload it on Youtube and then share it. If you upload it directly in the Facebook group then we can’t share it here
Hi Alex,
I tried to find the harmony by ear before attending to the video course.
Instead of Cm6, I hear a Am7b5, because I hear the only difference between the two measures is going from the note e to the note e flat.
Do you suggest any comment ?
Many thanks
Julien

Hi Alex,
Many thanks for the video, your explanation is crystal clear !
(and I love the sound of the extension of the Cm6 starting on the note Eb).
Next time, I’ll try to focus my ear on the bass to improve my understanding of the harmony.
Julien
Oh. For flute, you can find easely the Bill McBirnie interpretations. I think the most original is this one
Thanks Guillaume, I’ve added this version in the playlist, very original!
Ah! I found a trumpet version, too! 😛

thanks Matte, I’ve added this one in the playlist!
Just having fun with the mirror image of the first 4 notes of the melody 🙂
