JVL Masterclass: Developing Bebop Lines

This masterclass is about Jeff’s book “Developing Bebop Lines” (a PDF download is included with the class) that has been praised by pros like Jerry Bergonzi, Dick Oatts, Chad LB and numerous students.

Jeff has developed an approach that allows the student to create their own language by breaking the material into small fragments.

This is a Level 4 masterclass.

"Developing Bebop Lines covers a topic that other jazz books don't - how to play lines that actually sound good. I highly recommend it for any musician looking to develop their vocabulary and ability to play through chord changes"
"I love this book because it's an easy read and is extremely comprehensive at the same time. You can get a lot done in a short amount of time and effort. Great introduction for learning where and how to start in connecting changes. I will definitely be able to use Jeff's book in my studio"

    Hello Alex

I’m looking forward to this masterclass with the great Jeff Ellwood! Will you send us (the ones like me who already paid that live workshop) a email link 1-2 days before? Would be cool to prepare myself. Thank you.

Hi Stefan! Thank you for participating, this is going to be a great class 🙂 The PDF will be downloadable during the event, I think it’s actually better so we can get all the explanations from Jeff as we go. Make sure you watch the short videos I have posted and study Sweet Georgia Brown: https://jazzvideolessons.net/standards-studies/sweet-georgia-brown/

Check out the solo of Seamus Blake that Jeff refers to in his Chinese portrait:
