    Hello Alex. I am very happy to have bought this course. There are years of work here. I would just like to know how Sam uses the diminished scale on a blues or on a modal piece like ”So what ”? THANKS

      Hi Nayland, thank you for the kind word, I’m happy to know you’re enjoying the masterclass! The three shapes are:
      1- Dim. Maj7 => C Eb Gb B
      2- Min. Maj7 b6 => C Eb Ab B
      3- Sus4 Maj7 b6 => C F Ab B

      Practice these with inversions and use them on II V I phrases, you can of course use the example from the masterclass but try to write phrases yourself too!

      I like to practice with the drums only, the ultimate test to see if you know the form and don’t get lost!
