I hope this holiday season is treating you well and that you’re staying safe and healthy. I just wanted to take a moment to wish you all a very happy holiday!
I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with each and every one of you this year. Your passion and your enthusiasm for jazz is keeping me inspired and motivated, and I’m so proud of the progress we’ve made together.
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday, and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together in the coming year.

We had a great masterclass with Sam Dillon who gave us a lot of fantastic ideas to practice over the diminished scales.
What's coming in 2023!!!
You can expect a great 2023 on JVL with of course our monthly Standards Studies and regular revisions of all our courses to keep them updated and relevant.
In addition, we are announcing that we are going to have a series of masterclasses with artists from the Mingus Big Band! Get ready to meet and learn with Lauren Sevian, Boris Kozlov, Robin Eubanks, Alex Norris, Alex Sipiagin and more!
For now we are meeting with Jeff Ellwood on January 21 for his masterclass “Developing Bebop Lines”.
